Greek Bride

Anastasia and Paul were recently married at the Ardmore House Hotel in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

This wedding was a first for me for three reasons. It was the first time I had photographed a wedding at the Ardmore House Hotel and it was now the smallest wedding I had ever photographed. Until this wedding the smallest wedding I had photographed was back in July 2010 in Oundle, Northamptonshire. Suzanne and Brian had a private family ceremony with just 8 guests, two of which were their children. Anastasia and Paul topped this with 5 guests, one of which was the very young son of two of the guests. Thirdly, Anastasia was my first Greek bride to photograph. Actually, I think this is also the first wedding ceremony I have photographed outside, in a fully licensed gazebo.

Of course, it was still a wonderful wedding and occasion full of laughter yet intimate and private. Anastasia though, is a very bubbly, full of life, outgoing person who loved being in front of the camera. I had a lot of creative fun at this wedding and Anastasia has asked me for some more follow-up photoshoots again soon.
